Jacky qualified from the European School of Osteopathy and has practiced as an osteopath since 1998. Jacky’s holistic approach to health and osteopathy works favourably with the Foundational Fitness philosophy of exercise, nutrition and lifestyle coaching.
Jackie explains:
‘My approach is that of
correction to the spinal, limb
and organ mechanics to enable
the team to provide you with
optimal corrective exercise.
My role is to make corrections
to the alignment of bones,
muscle attachments, and even
the organs of the body in order
to provide the client with
optimal biomechanical symmetry.
Biomechanical symmetry can be disturbed by events in your life such as traumatic accident (road traffic accident, sports injuries, falls from horses or bicycles), or as a result of a birth defect that may have introduced asymmetrical curves to the spine from an early age. Also emotional stress, poor organ function from pregnancy and labour, liver toxicity, and adrenal overdrive can all affect the way in which your body moves. Some of the above may simply not allow optimal function without physical correction’.
